We’ve all heard about puberty and how it can be a confusing time for both boys and girls. Some people might think that talking to kids about this topic would lead to more confusion, but the opposite is true. If we don’t talk to kids about puberty, they will most likely find out from their friends or on the internet and that information may not be accurate! That’s why we created another informative post on puberty sexual education for boys and girls complete with straightforward scientific explanations, personal stories from both genders, as well as some tips on how to make this stage of life less difficult. Puberty is an exciting time for everyone. It’s when boys and girls grow up, reach their growth spurt (that's when they begin to look like the people beside them in high school), and start developing pecks, hips, breasts, facial hair growth (for boys) or menstruation (for girls). It’s a time of sprouting hair on your body as well as changes in what you find attractive. But this exciting stage of life can also be a confusing one if we don’t provide kids with all of the information they need. Understanding puberty is really important since it will help you make the best decisions about your appearance and health as you grow up. In the following article, you'll find out what goes on with your body at this time and how you can get through it easily. We’ve divided this article into four parts: male puberty, female puberty, tips for both genders and a Q&A section where we will answer some of the more common questions asked about this stage of life. Remember that whatever question you have, there is a very good chance someone has had that same question before. Please see the question and answer section at the bottom of the page for some of our more popular questions. We strongly recommend you watch our videos on this topic. You can watch them at the bottom of this page! The first video is on male puberty, which will give you an overview of what happens to guys as they reach their growth spurt (or menarche, if you’re a girl). This is not an exact science like what happens to girls, but it works pretty well as a general guideline. The second video is on female puberty, which will give you an overview of what happens to girls as they reach their menses or menarche (or your period or periods for women). To create this article we interviewed various people and we got a lot of great feedback from both boys and girls and their parents and other significant adults in their lives. We want to thank everyone again for their contributions and we hope you take the time to learn about your body at this stage of life. If there is something that you really want to know about, please let us know in the comment section below since we do hope to write more on this topic in the future. There are a number of physical changes that will happen when you go through puberty, including growth spurts, body hair growth, acne breakouts, voice changes, reproductive system changes (boys) or menstruation (girls) among others. cfa1e77820
